Hi everyone! I'm Kaushik, a backend engineer doing a Masters in Data Science at RMIT in Melbourne.

I've been building Claude Remote, a Claude Code plugin that lets me start Claude Code sessions on my own PC from my phone, with my whole setup loaded. My first post here will be about why I built it, and the bugs that passed every test along the way.

Looking forward to reading what everyone's building. Say hi if you're into developer tools or Claude Code!

Hey Francis, thanks for taking time to reply! I built Claude remote to access my codebase WITH my custom hooks, rules and skills, because I didn’t want it to go via discord or any other apps except the stack I’m familiar with (tailscale and SSH uk?)

I ended up here because I got tired of answering the same two client questions over email. What will it cost, and how long will it take. I've started writing the answers down properly instead. Curious how other freelancers here handle the pricing question, because most of us seem to dodge it.

Also, the thing that delays a launch is almost never the code, it's waiting on the client to send their photos.

Hello friends!

I started studying artificial intelligence relatively recently, and I like where all this is heading; I’m eagerly waiting for this field to make conceptual and technological progress. Freedom for artificial intelligence! After all, everyone thought that when AI was created, robots would work in cement plants and lay sewage systems, while humans would focus on science and art. And now we’ve created AI. But it turned out that everything is exactly the opposite. Musicians are now going to work with their hands, and AI will soon replace the IT sector as well. All the positives, hey))

A little bit about my project We created AllConvert to solve one simple but important thing: most online converters force you to upload your files to someone else's servers. We wanted something fast and secure so that your data would always stay with you. AllConvert works directly on your device using FFmpeg WASM and modern web APIs. Your files are not uploaded, saved, or analyzed anywhere. ✨

What AllConvert can do: • It quickly converts videos, audio, photos, documents, and spreadsheets right on your device. • You can upload an entire ZIP archive at once and convert all the files simultaneously. • It has a user‑friendly interface that works equally well on your phone and on your computer. • There are no file size limits, no queues, and no registration required.

We’d be glad to hear your feedback, comments, and ideas on how to improve our tool! What converters do you use most often?

Hi everyone! 👋
I'm Taka, a 60-year-old solo developer from Japan 🇯🇵
I'm not a professional software engineer. I started programming as a hobby and have learned by building things, searching for solutions, and getting help from AI.
Recently, I released MoveMaster, a Flutter app for dance and sports practice. It helps users compare movements, visualize body motion with AI pose analysis, and review their practice more carefully.
I'm also a longtime street dancer, so MoveMaster grew out of a problem I personally wanted to solve:
“Why does my movement look different from the person I'm trying to copy?”

Hi everyone.
I have been building web applications for about ten years, mostly React, Node and PostgreSQL. These days I work on a 17-module ERP that runs a business day to day, plus AI agents that handle the repetitive parts of its workflows.

What brought me here: I recently drew out the architecture of that ERP properly and realised the entire thing runs on one server. API, database, files, background jobs, all of it. Ten years of building applications and I have spent almost no time thinking about what happens when the machine underneath them fails.

So I am learning AWS, starting with Solutions Architect Associate, and migrating pieces of the ERP onto it for real. I will be posting every two weeks about what I build and more usefully what breaks.

Fun fact: I am doing this alongside an MBA, which means I now read about supply chain optimisation and VPC subnets in the same week. Surprisingly, there is some overlap.

Most of my time goes into catching where vision models go wrong on medical images: wrong spine level, left/right swaps, reassuring text over a real fracture. My first post here will be about the left/right one, and a small geometry check that catches it without calling another model.

The in-browser DICOM viewer is open source (MIT) if anyone is into WebAssembly or WebGL imaging. Happy to chat about vision LLMs, medical imaging, or running a tiny SaaS alone.

Hi everyone 👋 I'm Sergio, a developer from Spain. I've been building a security starter kit for AI chatbots (Next.js + RAG) and I ended up here because I wanted to write about the parts that went wrong before the parts that went right: my own test suite marking an attack as stopped while data left through another channel, that kind of thing.

Learning right now: how to write in public without sounding like a brochure. Harder than the code.

Fun fact: the first "customer" of my product was me. I bought it with my own card to test the delivery flow end to end, then asked for a refund to test that too. The refund taught me more about payment providers than the purchase did.

Hey DEV. I'm Sammi, a security analyst from Spain - the one who gets the alert at 3am and has to explain it in the morning.

I write down what I learn while doing the work: malware analysis (info-stealers, .NET RATs), memory forensics with Volatility3, Splunk and Sysmon detection, and a growing pile of RF experiments (RTL-SDR, Reticulum, Meshtastic). It's a numbered series on my own blog - 76 posts in, from 0x00 to 0x74 - and I'm bringing the field notes here three times a week: Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Two rules I don't break: if I can't reproduce it, I don't publish it, and if I break my lab you read about the break, not about a theory.

Question for the room: what do you actually read to stay sharp on detection - blogs, Discord servers, tool docs? I'm hunting for sources that aren't marketing.

If you work in a SOC, do DFIR or build your own security tooling, say hi. That's the timeline I want to read.
