For Firefox browser

Create a mozilla account
Click on this link and submit the zip file
You need to fill some details regarding the extension and make sure you don't have any remote code because they may reject your submission as they cause some security issues

Well, that's how to publish it to the website. It's possible to install it without doing that - just like you can with Chrome
