I've been experimenting with the 'Cyberpunk' aesthetic for my projects lately too. Instead of using standard stock photos, you might want to try adding some custom retro glitch art. I use a tool called Glitch Studio (glitch-studio.com)—it's web-based and lets you generate those digital distortion effects really quickly. It adds a lot of personality to hero sections.
