FreeEQ8: Looking for Testers for a Free Open-Source JUCE EQ Plugin

I’m building FreeEQ8, a free open-source EQ plugin made with JUCE.

The next goal is broad DAW compatibility testing. I’m looking for producers, engineers, and plugin developers who can test the plugin in real sessions and report what works or breaks.

What needs testing

  • VST3 loading
  • AU loading on macOS
  • DAW scanning
  • UI scaling
  • Preset and session recall
  • CPU behavior
  • Basic EQ workflow
  • Crashes or freezes

DAWs I’m especially interested in

  • REAPER
  • Ableton Live
  • Logic Pro
  • FL Studio
  • Studio One
  • Cubase
  • Bitwig

  • What broke
