Intro

I'm an SRE living in Denver.

Hacktoberfest 2023

In total, this year I had 29 PRs merged during this year's Hacktoberfest as a contributor. I reviewed and merged 17 PRs by other contributors on projects I maintain.

Maintenance work

This year I did maintenance work on awesome-zsh-plugins, the sysadmin-reading-list, the [zsh-quickstart-kit](https://github.com/unixorn/zsh-quickstart-kit and git-extra-commands where I reviewed & merged 17 contributor PRs

New open source contributions

I also wrote prometheus-moosefs-tricorder, a prometheus exporter for moosefs.

And finally, I hit 3260 consecutive days of GitHub contributions during this Hacktoberfest.

There's a bug in the streak detection where it occasional trims 12-18 months off of my streak graphic.
