how to handle toxic junior developer ?

In terms of soft skills like empathy, communication, teamwork, etc., I think the company culture and a mentor can guide this developer.

Talking about hard skills, I think it's necessary to have a good administration of the resources from the mid/senior developers, for example, IAM (Identity & Access Management). I would also encourage the junior developer(s) to take courses or read books to improve their programming skills. After taking such training, I would test them with a small project.

i know the problem is this guy is my junior in college. i taught him some of hardskill but he always overproud of himself and so arrogant said that he was better than me like didn't know what the meaning of respect.

If you have tried and tried, You don't need this kind of person in your life. Continue on and make relationships with people which show empathy and good intentions.
