🚀 30 Days Cloud & DevSecOps Journey

The cloud world is evolving fast.
DevOps is no longer enough. Security is no longer optional.

That’s exactly why I’m starting this 30 Days Cloud & DevSecOps Journey — building publicly while learning cloud infrastructure, automation, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and security engineering.

For the next 30 days, I’ll be documenting everything on Dev.to 🚀

🎯 Why I’m Doing This

I wanted a structured path to learn:

  • Cloud Computing
  • AWS
  • Docker & Kubernetes
  • CI/CD Pipelines
  • DevSecOps
  • Infrastructure as Code
  • Monitoring & Observability
  • Security Automation

📚 What This Journey Covers

Over the next 30 days, I’ll be creating and building around:

☁️ Cloud & AWS

  • IAM
  • S3
  • VPC
  • EC2
  • Lambda
  • CloudWatch
  • Billing & Cost Optimization

🐳 Containers & Kubernetes

  • Docker
  • Dockerfiles
  • Kubernetes Fundamentals
  • EKS
  • Helm
  • Kubernetes Security

🔐 DevSecOps & Security

  • SAST
  • DAST
  • SCA
  • Container Security
  • Runtime Security
  • Secrets Management

⚙️ CI/CD & Automation

  • GitHub Actions
  • Secure Pipelines
  • Bash Scripting
  • Terraform

📊 Monitoring & Observability

  • Prometheus
  • Grafana
  • Logs & Alerts

🛠️ Tools I’ll Use

  • AWS
  • Docker
  • Kubernetes
  • Terraform
  • GitHub Actions
  • Snyk
  • SonarQube
  • OWASP ZAP
  • Trivy
  • Falco
  • Kyverno
  • HashiCorp Vault

🚀 End Goal

By the end of these 30 days:

  • Build secure CI/CD pipelines
  • Deploy cloud-native applications
  • Improve Kubernetes & AWS skills
  • Learn real-world DevSecOps practices
  • Become more confident in cloud security & automation

🔥 Let’s See Where This Goes

If you’re interested in Cloud, AWS, DevOps, or DevSecOps — feel free to join the journey 🚀

Day 1 drops tomorrow 👀

⚠️ Disclaimer

This journey is not enough to fully master DevSecOps in 30 days.

DevSecOps is a vast field that requires continuous learning, hands-on practice, real-world experience, and deep understanding of security, cloud, automation, and infrastructure.

This journey is simply a starting point to build strong fundamentals, improve consistency, and gain practical exposure to modern Cloud & DevSecOps workflows.

The goal is to learn step-by-step, build projects, and grow over time — not to become an expert overnight 🚀

Wow, 30 days of Cloud & DevSecOps? You’re a true adventurer! 😂 It’s a very structured path, and I love that you’re focusing on security engineering right from the start. I'll be following your updates closely. Good luck with Day 1!

It's great to see more emphasis on DevSecOps—security must be baked in from the start, not an afterthought. In my work with confidential computing, I've seen how integrating secure enclaves and GPU isolation can significantly reduce attack surfaces, especially when handling sensitive data. Tools like VoltageGPU help enforce these principles without sacrificing performance.
