Building My Own Windows Desktop Software with C# and .NET

Building My Own Windows Desktop Software — Task Monitor & FazaFix

Hello everyone!

I'm Rave, a software developer and creator currently working on my own Windows desktop applications.

I've been learning software development by building real projects and experimenting with different features, designs, and technologies.

Task Monitor

One of my main projects is Task Monitor, a Windows desktop application I'm currently developing.

The goal is to create a useful application that provides tools for monitoring and managing a Windows PC.

Some of the features I'm working on include:

  • CPU performance monitoring
  • RAM usage monitoring
  • GPU performance monitoring
  • Windows system information
  • Process management
  • Storage cleaning
  • PC optimization

I'm building the application using C#, .NET, and WPF.

FazaFix

I'm also working on FazaFix, another Windows utility project focused on PC performance, system management, and optimization.

The project is part of my journey toward building practical Windows software that can be useful in everyday PC management.

Technologies I'm Learning & Using

  • C#
  • .NET
  • WPF
  • C++
  • HTML
  • CSS
  • JavaScript
  • Git
  • GitHub
  • Windows Desktop Development

Why I'm Building These Projects

Instead of only learning programming through tutorials, I want to learn by actually building software.

Working on these projects gives me the opportunity to practice:

  • Software architecture
  • User interface design
  • System monitoring
  • Windows development
  • Debugging
  • Problem solving
  • Git and GitHub
  • Creating software that people can actually use

What's Next?

Both projects are still under development, and I'm continuing to improve them and add new features.

I'll be sharing more updates as development progresses, including new features, lessons learned, and improvements.

This is only the beginning of my software development journey.

Build → Learn → Improve → Repeat.

Thanks for reading!
