After a lot of development, testing, debugging, and improvements, I’m excited to announce that Task Monitor v1.0.0 is officially completed and released.
Task Monitor is a Windows desktop application I developed to provide system monitoring, process management, storage cleaning, and PC optimization features in one application.
What is Task Monitor?
Task Monitor is designed to give Windows users a simple way to monitor important system resources and access useful maintenance tools without needing several different applications.
The application provides information about CPU, RAM, GPU, and Windows performance from its main interface.
Main Features
System Monitoring
Task Monitor provides monitoring for:
- CPU Performance
- RAM Performance
- GPU Performance
- Windows Performance
- System and hardware information
Process Manager
The Process Manager allows users to view running applications and processes, search for specific processes, and use End Task when an application needs to be closed.
Storage Cleaner
The Storage Cleaner provides cleanup options for selected unnecessary files, including:
- Temporary Files
- Windows Update Distribution
- DirectX Shader Cache
Optimization
Task Monitor also includes optimization tools designed to help users manage and maintain their Windows system.
Ram Reduct
The Ram Reduct feature provides a dedicated interface for managing system memory when users need to reduce memory usage.
Development
Building Task Monitor was a long process.
During development, I worked on the interface, system monitoring, process management, storage cleanup, optimization features, GPU monitoring, memory management, testing, debugging, and finally the installer.
One of the important parts of the project was making the hardware monitoring work correctly with the installed Windows hardware and drivers.
After testing and fixing the remaining issues, I finally reached the point where I could release the first stable version.
Official Release
Task Monitor v1.0.0 is now available as an official GitHub release.
