I like Powerlevel10k, however, it states that it is no longer going to be maintained. I'm coming from 2025 and I have been an avid powerlevel9k user, but its been buggy and having issues and powerlevel10k is suppose to be the better option but now sadly its not going to be maintained..

Powerlevel10k is an order of magnitude faster, easier to configure and has more features. Give it a try.
how to shorten the directory?
Run
p10k configure. If the directory is too long for your liking, open~/.p10k.zsh, search forPOWERLEVEL9K_DIR_MAX_LENGTHand set its value to 0.I was happy with Wes Bos' Cobalt 2 – but mate… Now, I'm a believer – Powerlevel10k is sweet!
