Trying to Build Community based Travel Product

Hi guys,

This is my first post on dev.to to share an idea for community help and personal learning in the travel industry based in India.

I’ve worked as an SDE at a FinTech company and am eager to implement my skills in building this product. I’ll be sharing my daily updates here.
(Note: My English may be broken, but my motivation is not!)

Idea:

Building a travel-based guide focused on local, intra-state, and country-wide travelers who want to explore India and discover paths/destinations near big cities like Delhi, Jaipur, Mumbai, Udaipur, etc.

Currently focusing on implementing location-based guidance and paths for travelers to reach destinations via plane, train, car, and 2-wheelers.

Additionally, there will be blog features for all travelers to share their journeys, feedback, fares, and recommendations.

Future Goals:

Collaborate with local travel guides for hotel, food, and location-based guidance to support local industries.

I’m just starting the product from scratch and looking for SDEs who want to contribute to this product.

Note: This product is community-based, so there will be no profit/gain unless we receive any sponsorship or donations to scale the product.
