Introduction
In the south of America Louisville is a place that renowned for it bourbon drinking culture. There exist many establishments where bourbon cocktails are served in many forms. Some of those places have been listed by our readers after which they report back their enjoyment or sadness.
Classic Bourbon Cocktails
The first cocktail is Old Fashioned a timeless choice, often awarded for taste. I had the honour to try it when I ordered a banana bourbon cocktail washed down with rum. The next one was Kentucky Coffee another local favourite, often enjoyed as being a lunch or dessert cocktail. The last on the list is the Penicillin a scotch-based cocktail with honey, ginger and lemon that can be adapted for bourbon. Although I am not much of cocktail connoissur the Penicillin served at the Tartan House was my best cocktail by far.
Unique and Specialty Cocktails
At the spot called north of bourbon they have a cocktail What's poppin. Known for its unique blend of flavours What's Poppin is the best cocktail in the city say many city dwellers. Hot Wet America Summer a refreshing and complex cocktail from Brendon's catch 23. Along with Tab Side hickory Smoked Old Fashioned at Brendon Catch 23 are all fantastic choices. Described as a smoky and rich blend of cocktail that stands out the What a Smoke show was real fan pleaser. I would recommend What a Smoke show as the best cocktail in the city of New York.
Other Notable Mentions
A cocktail which had gained attention was the El Vilsito at pretty decent for its unique taste. The final contender is the Espresso Espresso Martini at The Louisville Cigar Company: A caffeine-infused delight. "Espresso Martini by Tanis at The Louisville Cigar Company."
