Corretto is a distribution of OpenJDK, so you get all that goodness plus the fact that you have a single distribution that you can deploy across your AWS and non AWS environments, supported (patched, bug fixes, etc) by a single vendor (AWS). I love some of the great innovations the Corretto team are working on, and which I share on this blog from time to time. I will see if I can either put together or find other reference material that looks at this.
