Hi, I'm Aedwin Bobby, a second-year Computer Engineering student at Mangalam College of Engineering in Kottayam, Kerala, India. I build practical AI and machine-learning projects, and this post is a short introduction to what I work on.
What I build
Most of my projects start from a real-world problem and end as working software:
- AI-Powered Network Intrusion Detection System — machine learning to detect malicious network traffic.
- AirSense-AI (AI-AQI-Predictor) — a scikit-learn model that predicts pollutant gas levels (CO, NO₂, SO₂, O₃, PM2.5, PM10) and the air-quality category from AQI, with a Gradio web interface.
- Hybrid AI Chiller Controller — reinforcement learning (PyTorch) combined with physics-based HVAC rules to recommend the optimal chilled water supply temperature for large buildings and cut energy waste.
- Web Vulnerability Scanner — an AI-powered scanner and DevSecOps platform with 15 modules.
- Kerala Flood Risk Predictor — a gradient-boosting model for Kottayam trained on 3,195 days of real rainfall (CHIRPS) and river-discharge (GloFAS) data — a project close to home, since Kerala lives with flood risk every monsoon.
What I'm learning
Python, machine learning, and how to ship AI that does something real — plus the unglamorous parts that make projects credible: clean READMEs, honest evaluation, and knowing a model's limits (my flood model's first version failed a real-world test, and diagnosing why taught me more than the build did).

I'm open to internships and collaborations in AI/ML. If you're building something interesting, I'd like to hear about it.
