# Building an AIoT Intelligence Layer for Aerospace Manufacturing

High-reliability aerospace manufacturing generates data from many different sources: sensors, tracking systems, manufacturing equipment, environmental monitoring, operator workflows, and enterprise software.

The challenge is connecting these sources into useful, real-time intelligence.

Avionetra AI approaches this problem through an edge-native AIoT architecture designed for avionics assembly and mission assurance.

Its technology stack includes UWB spatial tracking, UHF RFID, BLE direction-finding, atmospheric sensors, electrostatic voltmeters, edge gateways, and machine learning.

One important architectural principle is local processing. Edge gateways can filter and process telemetry close to the production environment, reducing network demands while enabling rapid alerts for critical conditions.

The platform can also normalize data from legacy systems and integrate with manufacturing environments, helping connect physical telemetry with enterprise workflows.

Compliance is another important component. Avionetra AI maps operational intelligence to aerospace requirements, creating traceable records around environmental conditions, operator certification, tool calibration, component movement, and production history.

For engineering and manufacturing teams, this represents a shift from fragmented monitoring toward an integrated intelligence layer for the factory floor.
