Introduction to Next.js Commerce Tutorial

Hey, i just want to let you know that i will shift my focus on the writing on nextjs and typescript. specifically typescript because i find typescript very difficult to learn and it has a lot of hidden things you need to know in advanced. also i want to update you from my last personal post that everything is well and safe for me and my solo friend-developer here at palestine and we are doing our best to make things better for ourself and our family- anyway, let's dive into the article!

Next.js is a powerful React framework (collection of tools, methods, and libraries) that allows developers to build fast and scalable web applications. It combines the best features of both a library (collection of pre-written functions) and a framework to provide a smooth development experience.

What is a Framework?

A framework helps developers structure their code and provides a set of rules and guidelines to build applications quickly and efficiently. It includes pre-built components and libraries to handle common tasks (recurring procedures or functions).

What is a Library?

A library, on the other hand, is a collection of functions that can be imported and used in your code as needed. It does not impose a specific structure on your application but offers utilities to enhance functionality.

The Difference Between Them

The key difference is that a framework dictates the structure of your code and provides a full-fledged solution, while a library offers specific tools or utilities that can be used independently within your project.
