How often should you clean up your tweets? The answer depends on your risk profile.

Weekly cleanup is for high-risk users: journalists, activists, public figures. If your tweets could get you fired or harassed, check weekly.

Monthly cleanup works for most people. Set a recurring calendar event, review your recent tweets, and delete anything you'd regret in 5 years.

Quarterly cleanup is fine for low-risk users who post infrequently and keep their history relatively clean.

The key is consistency. A monthly cleanup is better than an annual cleanup that never happens.
