Two ComfyUI graphs ship with this episode. Both are supplied files: no clip was rendered for this article, no timing was taken, and nothing below is a quality comparison.

The two graphs

MiniMax H3 FL2VA - First/Last Frame with Keyframe Timeline MiniMax H3 Ref2VA - Multi-Reference with Keyframe Story Beats
Nodes / links 80 / 128 87 / 141
Node types 35 40
LoRA nodes 0 0

That last row matters: earlier episodes in this series shipped five-LoRA stacks. These two ship none. If you are coming from those, do not expect a LoRA bench here - the character of the output comes from the conditioning path, not from weights.

Sampling is a custom chain, not a KSampler

SamplerCustomAdvanced appears 3 time(s). KSamplerSelect appears 1 time(s). Scheduler/guider side: RandomNoisex1, BasicGuiderx3.

So there is no single "steps / CFG / sampler" tuple to quote, and this article will not invent one. Open the graph in your own ComfyUI and read the actual sampler widgets before assuming a step count.

What the keyframes buy you

The FL2VA graph binds a first frame and a last frame, so the motion between them is the variable you tune. The Ref2VA graph takes several references and lays story beats on a keyframe timeline, with 20 math/integer nodes assembling positions. If you want one clean move, the first is enough; if you need several beats on one path, the second carries the arithmetic.

What none of this proves

  • No inference, no rendered output, no speed numbers.
  • Weights and input media are not bundled. Check every licence before publishing what you make.
  • Covers are promotional stills shipped with the video, not frames from these graphs, and they were not visually reviewed for this release.
