GPT‑6 can assemble answers from text and interactive components. The global ChatGPT rollout covers paid tiers as well as Free and Go.

OpenAI began rolling out GPT‑6 with Intelligent UI globally on October 7, 2026, for ChatGPT Plus, Pro, Business and Enterprise users. Free and Go users entered the rollout on October 8. The launch expands access beyond the paid customers that received the first GPT‑6 models.

Intelligent UI changes how ChatGPT can present an answer, not just what it says. According to OpenAI, GPT‑6 can combine prose with graphics, buttons, forms, charts, diagrams and task-specific tools. The company lists calculators, bill splitters and games as examples, while noting that the model can still choose conventional text when an interface would not help.

OpenAI says these interfaces use native streamable components and a compiler that renders them progressively on the web and in mobile apps. The model was trained to decide what content to include, how to arrange it, which interactions to offer and whether an interface is appropriate. Users therefore do not necessarily need to request a form, table or specialized tool in advance.

GPT‑6 can also begin delivering a cohesive response while its reasoning continues. In OpenAI’s internal evaluations, GPT‑6 Extra High started answering as quickly as GPT‑5.6 Medium and achieved a higher overall score than GPT‑5.6 Extra High on selected everyday agentic tasks. The company also reports that GPT‑6 Instant begins answers requiring web search 44% sooner on average than GPT‑5.6 Instant. These comparisons are vendor-reported and are not independently verified in the source.

In practical terms, Intelligent UI can turn a static ChatGPT reply into a small interface tailored to the task, potentially keeping explanation, calculation and data entry together. That also makes interface selection part of answer quality: an inaccurate chart, unsuitable layout or confusing control can undermine an otherwise useful response. OpenAI acknowledges that the system’s design judgment and creative range still need improvement.

Paid and enterprise tiers receive GPT‑6 Sol, while Free and Go use GPT‑6 Luna. The release applies only to Chat; Work and Codex models remain unchanged, and Enterprise availability depends on administrator settings. OpenAI also says GPT‑6 received updated training against high-risk misuse involving cyberattacks, biological threats and violence, with company testing indicating stronger resistance to adaptive, multi-turn attempts to bypass safeguards.
