The shared Ethereum nodes are absolutely free, no hidden costs attached, no date/time limit either.

I understand where you are coming from, however—the sign up form explains that the shared nodes are free and not subject to the 14 day trial when you hover over the (i) icon. So it's not immediately obvious.

We probably need to rework the form to avoid the confusion.

Correct, but there is another problem for people getting onboard to use the trial or free shared nodes. It asks me to give my credit card details without that it isn't letting me use shared nodes as well. Exited the site right away. I am using Infura from last two years, they never asked for CC details, ever. Maybe that's one more thing you should take care along with the UX part.
