Do you know what most developers complain about?

At Adadot we analysed data in 35,000 developer datasets from GitLab, GitHub, Slack and Google Calendar. Here are some datapoints:

📌80% of developers have focus time at some point during the week.
📌20% of them deliberately set up focus time in their calendar
📌10% use specialised apps for it

Here is what surprised us:

😱Up to 60% of developers experience some sort of distraction during focus time daily
😲The more senior the developer, the more likely to set up focus time in their calendar. Also the more likely to get distracted
😵Slack messaging, not meetings, was the main culprit in those distractions
