Does anyone hire a 16 years old kid who learnt to code from the internet?
There's a lot of competition even for internships. Undergraduate around 18-21 age have difficulty getting hired. Unless a 16 year old can demonstrate a fine grasp better than those undergraduates, it might be difficult to be hired. And, these is only applicable for internship roles.
16 is going to be tough without really showing you have some great skills, a few more years and it's very possible, as my interview with Jordan on Episode 7 of the Career Switch To Coding podcast shows π
many thanks
