The Antivirus Armor for Website File Uploads

Summary : Hey Amigos! I'm here to share about malware and how to prevent it. I heard your voice saying, this is another topic we already know. Yet here I have a secret to share. The journey won't be too long. Let's begin.

Not so long ago, internet usage for villages in India was Rs.10 per hour. A system with a Wi-Fi connection was rare at that time. The Tamilnadu government provided free laptops for students. My aunt got one, and the first time I heard the word Antivirus.

It is a dream come reality moment for the students. Everyone had their hands on laptops, but not AV. As it was not affordable for most of the students, they developed a plan. A whole class shared the amount and installed AV in a single system. They borrowed a pen drive from a computer science teacher and shared the software. Every soul in the classroom was happy they saved their dream from malware. Happy ending.

But this time, it is not that easy to prevent malware. Even a two-year-old kid has the internet in his hand. People are most interested in knowing the personals of other people. A famous dialogue is there, "You are being watched." Not just individuals, corporations are observing and destroying each other internally.

In recent times, there have been lots of Antivirus developed to check the existing documents and files. It is to analyze the possibilities of malware attacks. There is a possibility that uploading a document infected with malware to a website can cause issues for both the website and the users who download the document.

A virus-infected document uploaded to a website can spread the malware to the server. It leads to data breaches or even total loss of control over the site. It affects reputation, user trust, and search engine rankings. Users downloading this document from the website infect their devices, resulting in data loss, unauthorized access, and system instability.

To mitigate these risks, an online software tool designed to detect malware in files uploaded to your websites is an essential component of cybersecurity that scans any document, image, PDF, or other file types to protect your website and reputation from various threats, including viruses and other malware.
