Instagram comments are not clickable — send the link in a DM instead

You cannot put a real clickable URL inside an Instagram comment. Instagram plain-texts or strips links there.

Practical workarounds

1. Link in bio — fine for one destination, bad when every post needs a different offer.
2. Stories / Highlights — temporary and easy to miss.
3. Private DM with the link — works, but manual replies do not scale.

Comment keyword → one private DM

Ask people to comment a keyword. Then send one private DM that includes your tracked link.
