Step-by-Step: Installing and Configuring Downloader on Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K

The Downloader application by AFTVnews is the most essential tool for installing third-party media applications, custom IPTV players, and performance utilities on Amazon Fire TV devices.

Step 1: Enable Developer Options

On newer Fire OS updates, Developer Options are hidden by default:

  1. Navigate to Settings → My Fire TV → About.
  2. Highlight your device name (e.g. Fire TV Stick 4K) and press the Select button 7 times.
  3. A notification will appear: "No need, you are already a developer".
  4. Press Back to see the newly unlocked Developer Options menu.
  5. Set Install unknown apps to ON for Downloader.

Step 2: Install Downloader

  1. From the Home screen, go to Find → Search → type Downloader.
  2. Select the orange Downloader app and click Download.
  3. Launch Downloader and grant storage permissions.

Step 3: Install Your Preferred Player

In the Downloader URL bar, enter the direct code for your desired app (e.g. 272483 for IPTV Smarters Pro). Once installed, enter your connection details from 4K USA TV to start streaming.
