Designing Photo Slots for Multi-Person AI Video Templates

#ux

A photo-to-video interface becomes more complicated as soon as a template supports two people or a group. A generic upload box does not tell users which photo belongs to which performer.

Dame Hombro AI is the product example here: fourteen dance and freestyle templates cover solo adults, duos, groups of three, cats and dogs. Outputs are 15-second, 720p MP4 clips with generated audio. The following is a practical interface design checklist for this kind of workflow, rather than a claim about any particular model architecture.

Treat each upload as a role assignment

A template should define its required cast before the user chooses files. Label the slots with the same role names used in the preview. For a duo, two distinct slots are easier to inspect than a single gallery of attachments. For a pet preset, make the expected animal type explicit.

Keep the selected template and its photo assignments together. If a user switches from a solo scene to a group scene, show the newly required roles before allowing generation. Do not silently treat a missing performer as an optional input.

Separate preparation from generation

Choosing a file, preparing an upload and starting a paid generation are different actions. The interface should make those boundaries visible. A useful review screen answers four questions: which template is selected, which photo fills each role, which aspect ratio will be generated, and what the request costs.

Dame Hombro AI offers 9:16 and 16:9 output and charges one credit per video. Its credit packs are one-time purchases; unused credits do not expire, and failed generations restore the credit. These are product rules worth showing before a request starts.

Validate the brief, then review the result

Input validation can confirm required slots and file constraints. It cannot guarantee that a generated face, hand or dance movement will look right. Completion therefore needs a second review step: watch the whole clip, including its audio, before downloading or sharing it.

For this product, photos must be authorized. Human subjects must be adults, and minors, celebrities and public figures are excluded. The result is a new AI interpretation, so the UI should not promise exact identity preservation or frame-by-frame replacement.

Describe audio independently

A dance template can evoke a movement style without including a commercial recording. This service creates new audio; it does not promise the original song, lyrics or an artist's voice. Dame Hombro AI is independent of Bulin 47 and Kevin Wai.

For builders, the useful design boundary is between the reference, the request and the generated result. Make each one inspectable, and users have a clearer basis for deciding what to create and what to share.
