We have a Jekyll-based thing and there are at least three of us who work with it. Rather than deal with the hassles of installation of Ruby and gems etc, I‘ve set up a very simple Docker Compose configuration that lets anyone develop (or review a PR) locally with a single command. It’s been an absolute godsend. This is far from all the magic that Docker can offer for local development, but the elegance and simplicity of docker-compose up can’t be beat.
