Need some feedback for this markdown editor.

I've coded this markdown editor for personal react knowledge, please give me your thoughts on how I can imrpove this further ? And please give it a star if you like it.

Suggested next step. Make this a single-pane editor. Let the user edit directly in the rendered text, perhaps temporarily displaying the underlying Markdown for detailed edits. Make it feel like a real word processor.
