I interned at Wedid Organization, a non-profit that speaks up for problems people usually ignore—like mental health, and how the common man often doesn’t get justice. I got to work directly under Sree Krishna Seelam, the author of books that talk about these issues. Wedid focuses on helping people who feel unheard. It works to raise awareness and start conversations about things that matter but are often not talked about. During my time there, I helped with projects that shared real stories and tried to make a difference. I learned how important it is to stand up for what’s right, even when no one else is talking about it. Working with Sree Krishna Seelam taught me how to use simple words and real stories to make people care. Wedid is more than just an organization—it’s a voice for those who don’t usually get heard.
