Recently, 2023 Trusted Database Development Conference was successfully held in Beijing. With the 15-year technical accumulation and industry contribution of AntDB, a self-developed telecom-grade core transaction database in the telecom industry, AsiaInfo was successfully elected as the deputy leader of the Telecom Industry Working Group of Database Application and Innovation Laboratory(DBL). AntDB has been selected in Global Database Industry Catalog (2022) and China Database Industry Catalog (2023) for two consecutive years, and actively participated in the preparation of Database Development Research Report (2023).

Mr. Zhang Hua, Vice President of AsiaInfo Anhui Technologies, attended the conference and shared his thoughts on the topic of "the practice and innovation of AntDB in telecom domain-wide system" in the sub-forum of the telecommunication industry.

In the past two years, China's database application and innovation in telecom industry has been in full swing. As a member of the Database Application and Innovation Laboratory of China Information and Communications Technology Academy (CICTA), AsiaInfo has made contributions to a number of seminars on database standards, relational databases, distributed transactional databases, distributed analytical databases, and database eco-tools, etc., and actively participated in the establishment of standards such as Technical Requirements for All-in-One Database, Technical Requirements for Database Migration Tools, Maturity Model of Database Operation and Maintenance Capability, and Technical Requirements for Vector Database, etc., which were led by CICTA, and has participated in the preparation of the Database Development Research Report for three consecutive years.
With the cooperation of various project teams, AntDB has been implemented in 24 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions across the country, and provides continuous and stable online services for 1 billion subscribers across the country. At the same time, AntDB continuously explores database construction, upgrading, transformation and replacement solutions, and helps customers to achieve the "first" core accounting library transformation in the nation, 5G domain-wide business support system, and other important tasks.

Propelling the R&D of Database
"Independence, Innovation and Integration" was the theme of this conference. With the continuous deepening of enterprises’ digital transformation, technology iteration and application scenarios of database continue to expand, and IT architecture continues to be explored and innovated in order to meet new changes. Based on the leading full-stack capability of digital intelligence, AsiaInfo Technologies has built AntDB, and continued to provide customers with credible, reliable, high-performance and technologically forward-looking database management capabilities, and has been selected in the China Database Industry Catalog for two consecutive years.

AntDB is the core distributed database product of AsiaInfo, which was first launched on the core billing system of carriers in 2008, and now it has been widely applied to the core billing, accounting, CRM and other key systems of the telecom industry, and has received good feedback and recognition from customers.
With the accelerating development of digital technology in China, AntDB will adhere to the long-term goal, continue to make breakthroughs, and increase the layout of real-time data warehouse, vector database, AI and other cutting-edge areas, so as to provide the digital economy with an independent and controllable digital intelligence pedestal.
