Feedback Stairs

Image description
Feedback. One of the most powerful but least used Gifts. Yes, feedback is a gift. We probably won’t even share feedback if we don’t care about it. Once feedback is given, we expect the opposite person to accept and improve on it kindly. After all, I, as the almighty, all-knowing person, always know it better than the opposite, right? If that is the illusion, we are not providing feedback but boosting our Ego. But, let’s say our intention in our feedback is genuine and comes from a caring point of view. Is it easy to accept and work it out? It depends on the stage you’re to receive. We are often our worst enemies when receiving feedback from Denying, defending, and explaining to the point where we probably even give up. Unless we take feedback as an opportunity to grow, we might handle it like a hot potato and stumble away. While understanding and reflecting, we grow. It can be painful and exciting, but it’s worth every moment since we realise we are transforming. Meaningful feedback can be the difference between a flailing and thriving team. To create a feedback culture in your organisation, constructive feedback is necessary. Transformation is indeed the muscle we reflex. Let’s reflect on every feedback until all is set in stone. It helps our well-being and sets a team culture for others to follow.
