The GDPR broadens the scope of facts protection for EU citizens, creates stricter penalties for violators, and emphasizes that corporations acquire consent to accumulate or share data. Anyone who does commercial enterprise with an EU citizen, or anybody bodily lives in an EU country, is caught acting for that reason. Even if that commercial enterprise or interplay is solely used for advertising and marketing or research, GDPR protections are mandated and practiced to any information collected.
