So, I am a student at York University in Toronto ON. I am currently taking a course called ADMS 2511 - Management Information Systems. Honestly speaking the content in this course so far is extremely bland and difficult to read, I've only read one chapter of the textbook and it was probably the most boring thing I read.
However, I am really excited to take this course because part of the grading component is through something called MaxLabs
Maxlabs is a pretty cool project which helps students learn Salesforce CRM in an interactive way which also counts towards the grade in their course. It has auto-grading features as well.
This project is supposed to takes us 75% of the way to getting our Salesforce associate certification which is really cool. I plan on completing the certification once I'm done this course which will also expand my resume.
Lab 0 & Lab 1a
Lab 0 was really just going through the setup of Salesforce and setting up the MaxLabs auto-grader. Lab 1a started off with building a basic "app" with a database for sales pitches. A lot of Salesforce's UI and just the way you do things reminds me of AWS Cloud. So far loving how interactive these labs are as I believe project based learning is the way to go.
I'll be documenting the rest of my journey and other projects I go, but this motivated me to start posting blogs about development and university :D
