The New Supernatural Launches In Early Access On Quest

VR Just Became a Serious Distribution Channel — Including for Your Eyes

VR fitness just crossed a line that matters for health tech: Supernatural's new independent version launched in Early Access on Meta Quest (UploadVR). A VR app rebuilding itself outside its original studio and going straight to Early Access is a signal — headsets are now a real distribution channel for serious daily practice, not just novelty.

That shift is why Amblyotube exists. Developed by Seven Sports, it's a Meta Quest app for visual coordination and attention exercises: while you watch YouTube-style content, each eye gets a different visual experience.

How it works, plainly:

• Dominant Eye Shader — gentle, adjustable digital blur on the stronger eye, so it stops dominating the weaker one.
• AI Sharpener (MFBF) — detects human figures and outlines them for the lazy eye, with a steady pulsing flicker.
• Wedge Occlusion — blocks part of each eye's view so each eye sees unique portions of the scene, reducing binocular rivalry.
• Magenta Focus Cue — a magenta cue in the lazy eye's view plus a subtle grey dot in the dominant eye's view; tracking merges them into one cohesive 3D image.

Setup is deliberately low-friction: pick the affected eye, choose a mild/moderate/severe preset, optionally run the built-in LogMAR check, then launch a video — in a virtual room or in Room View AR passthrough.

No adhesive patches. No red-blue glasses. 30–40 minutes a day, with content you already like watching.

Amblyotube is supplementary vision training and an assistive tool for binocular coordination and depth perception — not a diagnosis, treatment, or cure. Recommended 30–40 minutes daily, max 1 hour. Ages 13+.
