The UploadVR hands-on with Daumier: Lila & Ghost is a reminder of how fast VR interaction design is moving — co-op puzzles where each player's eyes receive tailored renders to sell shared physicality. But the same per-eye rendering capability that makes that magic possible is also powering something quieter and, arguably, more impactful: Amblyotube, a Meta Quest app from Seven Sports that treats amblyopia (lazy eye) through dichoptic video streaming. The concept is straightforward: while the user watches YouTube-style content — creators, documentaries, whatever they'd watch anyway — the headset delivers a different visual experience to each eye. The amblyopic eye gets enhanced contrast, motion cues, or selective detail. The fellow eye gets a complementary but not identical stream. The visual cortex, forced to fuse them, gradually reweights its reliance on the weaker eye. Twenty minutes a day. No patches. No boring dot-tracking exercises. Just content consumption that doubles as therapy. The clinical framework
