💡 Inspiration
Healthcare should be simple, accessible, and available anytime. Many patients struggle with long waiting times, unclear schedules, and lack of streamlined appointment booking. We built HealthMate to solve this problem by making doctor appointment booking as easy as ordering food online.
✨ What it does
HealthMate is a full-stack MERN application that allows patients to:
- Create accounts & log in securely
- Browse doctors by specialty and availability
- Book appointments in real-time
- Pay online securely with Razorpay
- Use a mobile-friendly UI for easy access
- Admins can manage doctors & appointments via a dashboard

- Frontend: React, Tailwind CSS, React Router, Axios
- Backend: Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB, Mongoose
- Authentication: JWT, bcrypt
- Payments: Razorpay Integration
- Image Storage: Cloudinary
- Deployment: Vercel (Frontend), Render (Backend)
