A Must-Have Color Tool for Designers on Mac### Capture any on-screen color and instantly get its HEX, RGB, HSL, and CMYK values

Design work constantly moves between references and precise values.

You see the right color in a website, photograph, screenshot, presentation, app interface, or existing brand asset. The color is already visible on your screen — but you still need its exact value before you can use it elsewhere.

Taking a screenshot, opening it in a graphics editor, selecting an eyedropper, and converting the result into another color format is far too much work for such a common task.

That is why I created Color Capture Pro.

Pick Any Pixel on Your Screen

Color Capture Pro lets you sample the pixel directly under your mouse.

Click Pick Color, select the color you want anywhere on the screen, and the app immediately displays the result.

You receive the color in four useful formats:

  • HEX
  • RGB
  • HSL
  • CMYK Each value has its own copy button, so you can transfer exactly the format your current project requires.

From Inspiration to Exact Color

A designer may encounter useful colors almost anywhere:

  • A button on a website
  • A color inside an app
  • A client’s existing presentation
  • A logo in a PDF
  • A photograph
  • A screenshot
  • A video frame
  • A brand reference
  • An older project without documented color values Color Capture Pro removes the gap between seeing the color and using it.

There is no need to import the source into another application. If the color appears on your Mac’s screen, you can capture it.

HEX Is Ready Immediately

For website and interface work, HEX is often the value you need most frequently.

Color Capture Pro can automatically copy the captured HEX value to the clipboard. Pick the color, return to your design tool or code editor, and paste it.

For example:

EB6C8D

The same sampled color is also displayed as RGB, HSL, and CMYK, ready to copy independently.

This makes the app useful across different kinds of work:

  • Web and UI design with HEX
  • Digital graphics with RGB
  • Color adjustments with HSL
  • Print-oriented workflows that require a CMYK reference ### One Color, Every Useful Format

Color values are often requested in different formats by different people.

A developer may ask for HEX. A design application may use RGB. A stylesheet may be easier to adjust with HSL. A print document may need a CMYK value.

Without a focused tool, that means searching for converters or manually translating values.

Color Capture Pro provides all four formats from the same captured pixel. Everyone can use the representation appropriate for their part of the project.

Built for a Repeated Design Task

Color Capture Pro is not a palette manager or a complete graphics suite.

It solves the small task designers repeat throughout the day:

  • See a color.
  • Pick it.
  • Copy the required value.
  • Continue working. The interface remains open and ready for the next sample. There are no projects to create, files to import, or accounts to manage.

A Focused Native Mac Utility

Designers already work with complex applications. A color picker does not need to become another one.

Color Capture Pro is a lightweight native Mac utility that makes on-screen color sampling fast and direct.

Pick any visible color, copy the format you need, and return to your project.

No subscription. No upload. No unnecessary workflow.

Color Capture Pro is available on the Mac App Store.
