Beaver PublisherWriting a good article takes time.

Researching, organizing your thoughts, editing, finding the right images, and finally pressing Publish.

But publishing the article is often just the beginning.

Now you want to share it on Threads, Bluesky, Mastodon, Tumblr, LinkedIn, and perhaps a few other platforms.

Open another website. Copy the title. Paste the link. Write an introduction. Publish.

Repeat.

Beaver Publisher was built to eliminate much of that repetitive work.

Your Articles, All in One Place

Beaver Publisher is a native macOS application that imports articles from your existing publishing platforms and organizes them in one library.

Supported sources include:

  • Medium
  • Substack
  • WordPress
  • Ghost
  • DEV Community
  • RSS and Atom feeds Your articles are synchronized automatically, with the newest posts appearing first.

Each article shows its source and publishing status, making it easy to see what’s already been distributed and what still needs attention.

You can even import older Medium articles from a Medium export.

One Click. Multiple Networks.

The central idea is simple.

Select an article, choose your destinations, and click Publish.

Beaver Publisher supports direct publishing to:

  • Threads
  • Bluesky
  • Mastodon
  • Mu, Eurosky, and other AT Protocol services
  • DEV Community
  • Tumblr
  • Pinterest
  • Discord For platforms that require manual publishing, Beaver Publisher helps prepare the content for pasting into the browser.

These include X, LinkedIn, Facebook, Hacker News, and Substack Notes.

You can edit the social post text before publishing, giving you control over how your article is presented.

No More Accidental Double Posting

When you’re distributing articles across several networks, keeping track of what’s already published becomes surprisingly difficult.

Did you share that article on Bluesky yesterday? Was it already posted to Mastodon? What about Threads?

Beaver Publisher maintains a publication history for each article.

When you click Publish, it sends content only to selected destinations that haven’t already received that article.

Publish what is missing. Leave everything else alone.

You can also filter your library by unpublished, partially published, or completed articles.

Turn Your Articles Into Podcasts

Here’s where Beaver Publisher goes a step further.

What if your readers prefer listening instead of reading?

Beaver Publisher can turn an existing article into spoken audio using ElevenLabs.

Connect your own ElevenLabs account, select a voice and model, and generate an MP3 recording of your article.

Before generating the audio, Beaver Publisher shows an estimated cost.

You pay ElevenLabs directly using your own account.

Once the recording is ready, you can listen to it, save it locally, or publish it as a podcast episode.

Supported podcast hosts include:

  • Transistor
  • RSS.com The application uploads your audio to the selected host and can include the article image as episode artwork.

Your podcast host then updates its RSS feed, which services such as Apple Podcasts and Spotify can consume.

Those directories aren’t directly published to by Beaver Publisher.

One written article can become an audio episode without a separate recording session.

Your Accounts. Your Content.

Beaver Publisher doesn’t require you to create another centralized publishing account.

Instead, you connect your own accounts on the supported platforms.

Credentials and API keys are stored securely in the macOS Keychain.

Your article library, settings, publication history, and generated audio files stay on your Mac.

When you publish or generate speech, content is transmitted directly to the relevant platform or ElevenLabs service, not routed through a Beaver Publisher intermediary.

There is no Beaver Publisher subscription, and the developer doesn’t collect your data.

Built for a Practical Workflow

Beaver Publisher is designed to help writers, independent developers, bloggers, and small businesses distribute their work without turning publishing into a full-time administrative task.

You can manage multiple source and destination accounts, search your article library, preview formatted HTML, and follow direct links to published posts.

You can also copy a complete formatted article with a single click, preserving headings, paragraphs, lists, emphasis, and links in compatible editors.

And at approximately 2.6 MB, Beaver Publisher stays remarkably compact.

No giant marketing dashboard. No unnecessary cloud infrastructure.

Just a focused publishing utility.

Write Once. Reach More People.

A good article shouldn’t disappear after being published on a single website.

Different audiences use different platforms.

Some people read Medium. Others follow Bluesky or Threads. Some prefer podcasts while commuting or exercising.

Beaver Publisher helps you reach those audiences without repeatedly doing the same work.

Import. Select. Publish.

And when appropriate, turn that article into audio as well.
