Bitcoin Miner Coordinator: Your Workers in One Place*Connect Mac and Linux Workers to a mining pool, distribute work, and monitor the results centrally.*
When several computers mine together, you need more than a display of their individual hashrates. The machines need work assignments, their connections need monitoring, and qualifying results need to reach the pool.
Bitcoin Miner Coordinator handles that coordination on your Mac. Compatible Workers on your other Mac and Linux computers perform the actual mining computations.
The Mac Coordinates. The Workers Compute.
The Coordinator connects to a Bitcoin mining pool using Stratum V1. It distributes independent work to selected Workers, monitors their status, and submits qualifying results as shares to the pool.
It uses ExtraNonce values to give Workers distinct search spaces. This lets them test different candidates rather than all repeating the same hash calculations.
The app does not perform mining computations on the Mac running the Coordinator. That Mac is the central point for the pool connection, work distribution, and monitoring.
OCEAN, Braiins, or a Custom Pool
Built-in configurations are included for OCEAN and Braiins Pool. You can also configure custom Bitcoin Stratum V1 endpoints.
Settings are saved separately for each pool. Custom pool configurations support optional TLS and a password.
If the network connection is temporarily interrupted, the Coordinator reconnects automatically.
Connect Mac and Linux Workers
Compatible Mac Workers can be discovered on your local network. Linux Workers can be connected through private WireGuard addresses.
WireGuard is optional and configured separately. It provides the network connection between the machines; the Coordinator then connects to the Workers over that network.
Registered Workers remain visible while offline. You select which machines participate in the current session, and Workers recover automatically when they reconnect.
Compatible Bitcoin Miner Worker software is required to perform the mining work.
Monitor the Whole Session
The overview shows both combined hashrate and individual Worker hashrates. It also displays session runtime, total hashes tested, and average work per hour.
Pool share difficulty, accepted shares, and rejected shares are visible, too. Connection and mining status show how each Worker is operating.
Together, these measurements help you assess the setup: Which machines are contributing? How much work has been performed? And which shares has the pool accepted?
Coordinate Mining and Understand the Results
Depending on the pool, you may need a Bitcoin payout address or a pool account. The selected pool determines fees, payout thresholds, and reward calculations.
Mining is probabilistic: Running Workers and a measurable hashrate do not guarantee rewards.
I developed Bitcoin Miner Coordinator to make managing a setup with several computers straightforward. Connect a pool, select your Workers, and follow the current session — all in one place.
