For years, websites were built for humans.
A visitor arrived. They explored the site. They compared products.
They read reviews. Eventually they made a decision.
Now I keep wondering about a different scenario.
What happens when AI becomes the first visitor?
Not the customer. The AI.
Before a human sees a product page, an AI system may already have analyzed it.
Before a customer compares brands, an AI assistant may already have narrowed the options down.
Before someone visits a website, a recommendation may have already been made.
That changes the role of a website. It is no longer just a destination.
It becomes a source of information used by machines to help humans make decisions.
I think many businesses are still optimizing for visitors.
Increasingly they may need to optimize for understanding.
Not just whether a human understands the business.
Whether an AI system understands it.
I have a question...
Do you believe AI assistants will become a major layer between customers and businesses over the next few years?
