What a private jet from Frankfurt to Mallorca costs in 2026

Mallorca is one of the busiest private-jet leisure routes from Germany. A quick reality check on what you actually pay in 2026, drawn from German broker data.

The short answer

  • Light Jet (4-7 pax): 8,500 - 11,500 EUR one-way
  • Midsize Jet (6-8 pax): 11,800 - 15,500 EUR one-way
  • Super Midsize (8-9 pax): 14,500 - 18,500 EUR one-way
  • Heavy Jet (10-12 pax): 19,500 - 25,000 EUR one-way

Flight time is around 2 hours 5 minutes. Off-season the prices drop roughly 15 to 25 percent.

Two airports near Frankfurt

Frankfurt has two realistic departures. Frankfurt Main (FRA/EDDF) is faster from the city core but charges 1,500 to 2,500 EUR per movement in handling and is slot-restricted. Egelsbach (EDFE) sits 25 minutes south, has no slot limits and handling costs only 700 to 1,100 EUR. For most leisure trips Egelsbach wins on price.

Empty legs cut the bill in half

Mallorca generates lots of return empty legs in summer because so many jets fly down full and need to reposition. Light-jet empty legs Frankfurt-Mallorca or back run 3,500 to 5,500 EUR if you can be flexible on date and time. That is roughly half of the regular charter price.

When does it actually make sense?

Four to six passengers is the math tipping point. Per head, a light jet runs about 1,700 EUR (six pax) versus 600 to 1,000 EUR for business class. The trade is roughly two to three saved hours per leg and no airport queues at PMI in peak August.
