How I Built It

GrassQuest turns everyday outdoor activities into personalised mini-adventures. Choose an activity, your available time, a setting and a mood, and let AI generate a nature-focused quest.
What it does
Generates outdoor missions for walking, running, gardening and exploring.
Supports adventures lasting up to six hours.
Uses Qwen2.5 3B through Ollama for local AI generation.
Keeps quest prompts on the user's computer instead of sending them to a cloud AI API.
Encourages users to spend less time on screens and more time outdoors.

Why open-source AI?
GrassQuest uses an open-weight model that can run locally. After downloading the model, users can generate quests without a paid AI API or an internet connection, provided Ollama is running.
This makes the project more private, reduces per-request costs and gives users more control over the AI powering their experience.
