The difference between management-confirmed, consolidated group data and independently audited individual reports is often overlooked in public communication.

A consolidated financial presentation of an entire group of companies and an independently audited report of a single legal entity serve different purposes and shouldn't be presented as equivalent levels of verifiability.

Clearly labelling which data is independently audited and which is an internal, management-reviewed presentation lets the reader correctly calibrate the confidence level of each individual figure.
