This week we did something more important than simply posting about BAINT
We talked to students
We listened to how they learn
What makes studying difficult for them
What helps them understand
What makes them lose interest
And what they do when the normal way of learning does not work for them
The more students we talked to the more we realised something
Students are not just the people we are building BAINT for
They are also teaching us what BAINT should become
Every student had a different story
We started with a simple question
What is the most difficult subject or topic for you
The answers were completely different
One student told us Mathematics was difficult because of the teacher's teaching style
Chemistry was different
There was too much
memorization calculations practicals different branches and the pressure of trying to remember everything while also understanding how to solve and derive things
Another student told us something even more interesting
They had always believed Chemistry was hard
Because of that mindset even when they tried to study they struggled to retain what they read
That made us realise something
Sometimes a student is not only fighting the subject
They are also fighting the way they already feel about the subject
Not every student has a difficult subject
One Software Engineering student told us they could not point to one particular course that was difficult
For them it depended more on their willingness to learn and how relevant the subject was to what they actually wanted to study
That was another important lesson
Students do not all experience difficulty in the same way
One student may need a clearer explanation
Another may need practical examples
Another may need to understand why the topic matters
Another may simply need better guidance
Sometimes the problem is not learning materials
One Biochemistry student told us there were already plenty of learning materials
PDFs
Lecture slides
Notes
Friends who could explain things
The problem was consistency
They often waited until a test or examination was close before studying
They also explained how large classes and stressful classroom experiences sometimes made attending lectures difficult
But what stood out was that the student already understood their own weakness
They wanted to start preparing earlier
They wanted to revise topics after being taught
They wanted guidance
But they also understood that they had to guide themselves and build better habits
Students are already creating their own learning systems
Another student showed us a completely different learning pattern
They use different websites
TikTok
YouTube
AI
They search for different explanations because one explanation may not always be enough
They also told us that practicals help because they learn better when they can see something and actually do something
This raised another important question
When students are using so many different sources how do they know what information to trust
The student told us they compare different websites
When something is completely new they search further or ask their lecturer
Students are already doing their own research
They are building their own learning systems
But the information is everywhere
The guidance is not always there
This is what we keep seeing
Students do not necessarily need more information
Sometimes they need information to make sense
They need to understand the connection between one idea and another
They need to see the practical meaning
They need another explanation when the first one does not work
They need questions to practise
They need guidance when they are stuck
And sometimes they need to hear something explained in a completely different way
This is where BAINT becomes more important to us
We are not trying to build another AI system that simply gives students answers
We are trying to understand what happens between asking a question and actually understanding something
Would this student understand better with a visual explanation
Would another student need a practical example
Would someone else need the concept broken down step by step
Would another explanation make more sense
Does the student need to understand the real life relevance
Does the student need practice questions
Does the student need guidance
These are the questions we are trying to solve
And we let students challenge the system
This is something we want to keep doing
After interviewing students we have also been showing some of them our BAINT AI Classroom demo
We do not want them to simply tell us
This is nice
We want them to challenge it
Tell us what feels wrong
Tell us what feels unnatural
Tell us what is missing
Tell us when the explanation is not good enough
Tell us when BAINT does not understand what they are trying to learn
Because if students cannot challenge what we are building then we are still building from assumptions
The product is becoming a conversation
Every student gives us another piece of the puzzle
One student teaches us about memorization
Another teaches us about practical learning
Another teaches us about relevance
Another teaches us about consistency
Another teaches us about guidance
Another teaches us that having learning materials is not always the same thing as being able to learn effectively
These conversations are changing how we think about the product
Building beyond the demo
There is another part of this journey we cannot ignore
We want BAINT AI Classroom to eventually exist beyond a screen and a prototype
To properly test how students interact with the system especially with voice
different languages and real classroom situations we need the right hardware and resources to keep experimenting
That is why support matters
Not because we want to skip the work
But because the work is already happening
Every conversation with a student gives us something new to build
The right hardware can help us take those ideas from a demo into something students can actually experience
We are looking for people builders organisations and supporters who believe in the idea enough to help us keep building and testing
The goal is to make the technology more accessible to the students we are learning from
We are still early
BAINT is still being tested
The demo is still on
The ideas are still evolving
There are still many things we do not know
And that is exactly why we keep talking to students
We do not want to pretend that we already have the perfect answer
We want to keep learning
We want to keep testing
We want to keep listening
And we want students to have a voice in what we build
The students are teaching us what to build
That is probably the biggest lesson from this week
The future of BAINT should not come only from what we think students need
It should also come from what students experience
What they struggle with
What they discover
What they question
What they ask us to change
And what they tell us after
seeing or using the system
So the work continues
We will keep listening
We will keep building
And we will keep giving
students permission to challenge us
Because the goal is not simply to build an AI that knows more
The goal is to build an AI classroom that helps more students understand
