Creating a resource group in Azure

Open your web browser and enter Azure Portal. To access the portal sign in with your Azure account credentials. Once you've entered into the Azure Portal, in the search tab, search and select "Resource groups" Once on the "Resource groups" page, click on the "Create" button. Select the Azure subscription you want to use for the resource group, for me it was "Azure subscription 1". Put in a name for your resource group. Select the region where you want the data for your reference group stored. It's best to choose a region where your resources will be deployed. After all the necessary details have been entered, click the "Review + create" button. Once the validation passes, click on the "Create" button. After the resource group is created, you can access it by going to "Resource groups" in the Azure Portal.
