Introduction
Hello, my name is Michael Caplan. I am a freshman in Penn State University. My main interests are up and coming technology and Cyber Security. My main major right now is to go into Cyber Security. This is my first post of many to come in this sort of fashion.
Tech Interests
A lot of my tech interests are related to gaming. I love playing video games. Knowing the behind the scenes of the coding aspect of making a game is cool. Understanding that it takes a lot of time and effort to make a game goes a long way. My brother and I built his pc together from scratch, so I understand how to gather all the pieces to a machine and put them together. I have a lot of previous IT experience, in high school, I took a few coding classes, so I understand the basic components of most popular programming languages.
What I am doing with this
One of the things I would like to do with this class is to build my profile. I would like to use this profile to apply for a job to the government. I would like to apply to the NSA, CIA, or the FBI. The main reason I want to go into the government instead of the private sector is that I do not necessarily need a high wage to know that I am doing good work.
