The Omega Seamaster "Bond." More specifically, reference number 2220.80. This particular omega 007 Skyfall watch model is a more recent release, with a few minor design tweaks towards the original, along with the Omega 2500 caliber Co-Axial timepiece. It is almost unfair to make articles related to this watch as words do them justice, and neither do images really, one has to hold this watch to determine and feel the standard and workmanship in this watch.
The dial over this watch is stunning, and so far, some of my favorite dial designs. I'll quickly start with the color of this particular model, which is one of my ideal high-quality omega James bond watches on any watch ever, I call it "Omega Navy" because I rarely see this precisely on any other watch. Besides, it has this beautiful, reflective "wave pattern" pressed down to produce fantastic depth. How light plays from the raised areas and casts a shadow around the indented areas helps make the wave pattern 'pop' without being too obtrusive.
Both hands will also be unique. They are your typical shaped hands, but skeletal to where one can look at the dial from the center. They are also super polished and play fantastically with the light. There is also a luminous treatment around the finish of each hand, a circle around the hour hands, along with a triangular around the minute hands for added shape contrast.
Now we go out towards the bezel, that the best place for Omega Seamaster watches matches the same "Omega Navy." There is a luminous pip because they refer to it as in the 12 o'clock position. The hash signs and numbers are nicely distributed and organized around the dial.
The 42mm case itself is an extremely reserved design. It's kind of going for a simple backrest to the relaxation of the watch. However, it does have some protruding edges over the cams that can go unnoticed at first. The back of the case is perhaps the showstopper of the case. The stamped seahorse design is of fantastic top quality, and it was expensive to make. Overall, it is still beautifully designed and fits perfectly in the bracelet of entirely Swiss best omega watches.
Omega certainly does not skimp when it comes to construction and quality control, that is, without a doubt! Whenever you hold this watch in your hands, you immediately teleport to Geneva, Europe, and you may have the "Swiss Made" quality of the watch. I found that I held the timepiece in my right hand a lot, simply because it's this kind of smooth feel in it, along with high weight or density to the steel.
Do not forget that it is an official diving watch. The timepiece is rated for 300 meters, which is far above human capacity, and speaks from the build volumes to the standard. The ability to withstand these depths offers almost double usability. One is the fact that it is a sporty professional diving watch, and two because it is a fantastically crafted dress watch. This just proves that no gems have been unchecked when it comes to making the timepiece.
In the design, in the direction of comfort and feel, in the course of overall construction and satisfaction, this watch is utterly perfect for me. I would recommend this watch to everyone because the value is much higher than the price for which it can be bought.
