I built an AI wardrobe web app that tells you what to wear based on today's weather β brutal feedback welcome
I've been building something called Libaas for a while now and I'm at that stage where I need real opinions from people who actually understand SaaS β not just friends who say "wow that's cool."
So here it is, no sugarcoating needed.
The problem I'm solving
Most people own way more clothes than they think they do, yet still open their closet every morning and feel stuck. The issue isn't the clothes β it's the organization, the context (weather, occasion, what you already wore this week), and the decision fatigue.
Libaas fixes all three.
How it works
You photograph your clothes once. The AI reads fabric, color, type, and season automatically β zero manual input. Then every morning, it looks at your local weather and suggests the best outfit from YOUR actual closet. Not generic style advice. Your clothes, your weather, your suggestion. And since it's a web app, there's nothing to download β it works on any browser, any device.
Core features I've built so far
πΈ AI Auto-Tagging β photo in, full clothing profile out
π€οΈ Weather-Smart Daily Outfits β real forecast, real wardrobe match
π
Worn History Tracker β logs every outfit, improves suggestions over time
π° Cost-per-Wear Calculator β tracks the real ROI of every clothing item
βοΈ Trip Packing Planner β destination weather synced with your wardrobe
π End-to-End Encryption β wardrobe data is fully private, never sold
Where I genuinely need your help
I'm a solo developer and I want honest answers, not hype.
Is this a vitamin or a painkiller to you? Real daily problem or a nice-to-have?
Which feature above would actually keep you coming back?
What's the one thing missing that would make you pay for this immediately?
What's the biggest red flag you see in this idea right now?
I'd rather hear hard truths in this thread than find out six months from now I built the wrong thing. Fire away. π
