I recently got a scam email from an email with the name "yo" ending in @dev.to
The subject had the line: "πΏππ« ππͺπ₯π₯π€π§π© ππππ’ just mentioned you in their comment" and the content in the email seemed like me and a bunch of other users here with a "b" as their first letter in their username. All hyperlinks seems to lead to the same website, but otherwise the email "looked" like something that could have been official. Anyone else gotten a similar email? Is there a way to ping an admin to get a read on this situation? @thepracticaldev ?

Thanks for sharing this! I saw it too and flagged it, and Iβve also reported the account pretending to be the DEV team. Hopefully the admins take it down soon
Same. I also forwarded it to the DEV team's support email.
Sharing concrete scam examples is useful because it gives people a recognizable pattern before they are rushed by one. The safest habit is to inspect the sender domain and navigate to account settings independently rather than following a security link from an unexpected message.
