Why I Want to be a Frontend Developer:
Looking at the current situation of the country I'm in (Nigeria), one can't emphasize enough the need to possess global valuable skills that can make you a talented individual, and problem-solver wherever you find yourself. This feat can make waves for an individual despite the economic hardship ravaging the country. For this reason, I opted to learn a digital skill when I was an undergraduate which happens to be Frontend development.
How HNG Will Help Fulfill My Goals:
HNG internship is an intense internship program that runs once a year for 8 weeks. The main objective is grooming the interns by giving them tedious tasks in a very short period, which in turn gives developers an insight into how real-life projects are being operated. This experience is something I need as a developer to take me to the next level and make me learn to work under pressure and still deliver.
My Goals in the HNG Internship and How I Plan to Achieve Them:
My goal for the HNG internship is simply to get to the final stage and become part of the HNG 12 finalists. The obvious way to achieve this is to finish all the tasks in subsequent stages through to the finals.
Conclusion
